Robert J. Woody (1953-2023)

Robert J. Woody was a graduate of Baylor University and Baylor School of Law, where he won the national mock trial championship. He practiced in New York at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett before returning to his native Texas, where he joined Hamp in building Skelton & Woody. Robert retired from the practice of law to enter seminary and after earning a Masters of Divinity, joined the ministry. Rev. Woody served as rector of the Episcopal Church of Reconciliation in San Antonio for 16 years before leaving the earthly realm in November 2023.
