Alert: A Scammer Is Impersonating Attorneys From Skelton & Woody, Sending Fraudulent Texts

Scammers have been impersonating attorneys, asking people to send them money. They have falsely claimed to be various attorneys whose names are publicly available on law firm websites, including ours.

Please be aware:

• We only establish client relationships through signed fee agreements, never via text or phone call.
• Scammers sometimes set up fraudulent websites that purport to help people “find a lawyer.” That is never a way to communicate with us.
• If in doubt, call our office to speak only with a lawyer or paralegal reached through our main number, which is a land line and cannot send texts
