Anderson M. Simmons

Anderson (“Andy”) M. Simmons has decades of litigation experience in cases ranging from personal injury, products liability, construction, commercial law, business disputes, dram shop defense, debt collection and consumer law. He started at an insurance defense firm in Newport Beach, California, returned to Texas to work in products liability defense at a large Austin firm, then became general counsel for a national construction company, all within the first seven years of his legal career. Thereafter, he opened his own firm, handling litigation and transactional matters. He later served as general counsel of litigation for a multi-state defense firm before joining Skelton Woody in 2026. Before law school, Andy worked as an electronics technician. He brings a hands-on understanding of technical subject matter to lawsuits.
